Obituary for Vainqueur Simon

Vainqueur Simon was born to Givena Simon and Rosemie Leandre and the first born in his family. He was born on January 2nd, 1927 in the central plains of Trouin, Haiti. As a young man he moved to Port-au-Prince for better opportunities. He dedicated his time and efforts to his family. He met his lovely wife Ociana Simon (Polidor) and they married on October 1953. Mr. Simon and his wife had seven children. He was unable to fulfill his vision for his growing family, so he decided to leave Haiti for better opportunities in America in 1982. Once here, he worked hard to support his family.
Mr. Simon was passionate about his family, the Gospel and enjoyed reading his Bible. He was a deacon at his church.
Mr. Simon passed away on January 2, 2019. He is preceded in death by his son Wesley Simon and his siblings Loccident Simon, Oreste Cyprien, Mrs. St. Pierre and Adelina Cyprien.

Vainqueur leaves to cherish his memory: wife Ociana Simon; daughter Examene S. Ridore and her children Jeffrey, Derby and Jennifer Ridore-Michel, her husband Gardy and their children Anayiah and Alaynah; daughter Marie Simon-Robert, her husband Joseph and daughter Madje Varda Charles, her husband Kempez and son Clifford; son Rigaud Simon, his wife Solene and their children Nathaniel, Gregory and Brianna; daughter Mireille Simon and her son Elijah; son Erick Simon and his wife Diedra; daughter Micheline Simon, her husband Andrephen; brother Noelsa Simon his wife Mama Simon and their children Jackson, Marie Roselaure Chery and Eddy Simon. Nephews and Nieces Janvier, Brutus, St Pierre, Polidor, Robert, Deravil, Remy, Maxi, Cyprien, Samedi, Chery, a host of extended family and friends.
