MacCabe, Gary Martin, at the age of 61, of Alton, Maine, formerly of Cambridge. Died on December 28, 2018. Beloved son of the late Helen Wraga MacCabe and James F. MacCabe. Survived by his devoted wife of 37 years Debra A. MacCabe, together for 47 years. He admired and loved his daughter Amanda MacCabe. He loved and adored his granddaughter Grace Helen Ashton, she was his heart. Dear brother of Wayne J. MacCabe, Janet MacCabe Trombley, Scott E. MacCabe, Karen MacCabe Tsalah, Bonnie MacCabe and the late Laurene MacCabe Sindoni. Also survived by his step brother and sister Scott McCarthy and Cheryl DePasquale, and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass for Gary MacCabe will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday January 5th in St. Johns Church, 2254 Mass Ave in North Cambridge. Following the Mass there will be a gathering held in the Church Hall downstairs until 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Diabetes Research Fund.
